After graduating from Central Saint Martins, Danny Sangra quickly built a multi-faceted, internationally-recognizable body of work as a director, writer, photographer, and illustrator. Danny is known for consistently bringing his unique mix of dark humor and subversive comedy to brands ranging from Samsung and Verizon, to Burberry and Miu Miu. Danny brings a mastery of composition, timing, and performance direction to all his films, whether for fashion brands, commercial giants like Verizon, or his own narrative work. His debut feature film ‘Goldbricks in Bloom’ starring Zosia Mamet (Girls), Jake Hoffman & Leo Fitzpatrick released in 2016 to rave reviews amongst audiences & the LA Times. With Indiewire quoting the film “ ‘Goldbricks In Bloom’ shares the irreverent wit, heightened reality, and unexpected dark twists of Sangra’s shorts”. While creating a name for himself making an immense collection of short-shorts, he has collaborated with clients such as Sony BMG, Atlantic NY, Samsung, Verizon, BBC, Metallica, Carolina Herrera, Showstudio, Elle, and Vogue and Balenciaga – the latter taking second position in the top 10 Fashion Films by Business of Fashion.
